ResourceSpace is an open source digital asset management system allowing users to organise digital assets, usually images, videos or documents and access it online. The ResourceSpace extension then allows integration of ResourceSpace as external image library for Storefront.

The assets are organised into virtual folders - collections. Each asset can be a member of multiple collections.

During the upload process each asset is analysed by the ResourceSpace system and the physical properties are transformed into the descriptive fields of the asset.

Custom descriptors and keywords are also supported.
